Biographical Information
The Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School was opened in 1986. Before 1986 the school was kwon as the Valley Secondary School opened in 1953. At this time there was an important woman named Mrs Albena Lake Hodge who was a politician, Minister of Education and headteacher of the Valley Secondary School. In 1986 Comprehensive education was introduced and the secondary school was renamed in her honour.
